HOW MUCH PAINT DO I NEED?
DO THE SURVEY
Waterproofing is an extremely important consideration. Whether you wish to waterproof a fishpond, your roof screws or even a reservoir- you’ll need to use the best possible waterproof sealant to do so.
However, if your roof is leaking or you are encountering damp patches on your walls you should contact a professional immediately. Leaking can occur during heavy rains and if you spot water dripping down your walls or from your ceiling you should address the problem as soon as possible. Should you ignore it the leaking will develop into a much bigger – and inevitably very expensive – problem.
Once you have addressed the root of the problem you should tend to your walls which will probably need to be repainted.
We carry two excellent waterproof paints:
Everbond – a non-toxic waterproof paint that boasts high UV resistance and elongation properties, meaning it can withstand submission in water over long periods of time. This waterproof paint is well suited to sealing concrete dams, reservoirs and fishponds.
Everseal - a high quality acrylic waterproofing paint which has been specially formulated to seal and protect exterior surfaces including pitched or flat roofs, flashings, roof screws and weather walls. It is an example of a highly flexible waterproofing paint and boasts UV resistant properties.
Evercure EM22 - a prime-coat for waterproofing for raw masonry surfaces such as fish ponds, reservoirs, and internal & external damp walls. Find out where you can buy these two waterproof paints.
